The Power Tower EMCU assures network managers that environmental conditions are within defined tolerances and that unwarranted entry into your equipment cabinets does not go unnoticed.

Containing an internal web server, this unit operates completely stand-alone with no supporting PC or client software required. External sensors include temperature, humidity and water sensors and support for dry contact closures and an analog input. The user needs only a Web Browser to view the environment conditions. The unit creates internal HTML (Web) pages, e-mail and paging alerts. A full SNMP MIB is included. A small plug-in wall transformer provides power.

Introducing the Power Tower Environmental Monitoring Control Unit (EMCU) to monitor vital environmental conditions in your equipment cabinet. Prevent environmental conditions from exceeding recommended thresholds and protect your equipment cabinet's assets from harmful elements.

The EMCU-IP assures network managers that environmental conditions are within defined tolerances and that unwarranted entry into your equipment cabinets does not go unnoticed.

The EMCU can be located in Data centers, co-lo site, web hosting facilities, telecom switching sites, POP sites, server closets, and any unmanned area that needs to be monitored. Link a EMCU to an existing Sentry Power Tower XL in your equipment cabinet and gain access environmental conditions from the same interface.

Each EMCU supports two temperature humidity probes, a water sensor and other dry contact closures. When a dry contact experiences a change in state or to its defined threshold, it reports an "error" condition.
